• What We Do

We testify to the US Congress, pass landmark public health legislation, and release public health information. We educate politicians at the local, state and federal levels.

Our Dream Program make dreams come true for brain tumor victims and their families. For example, we arranged for the Solomon family to go to a San Francisco Giants baseball game and run the bases. Andy Solomon's daughter got to steal second base with her Dad, meet the players, and was welcomed in front of the entire ballpark.

    Educate

We host educational symposiums featuring Senators and Doctors, make award-winning documentaries, host film-screenings, teach classes at local high schools and colleges, distribute posters at Pediatrician offices, and give frequent interviews on local and national news channels. Come check out our next event at the Commonwealth Club on February 5th in San Francisco.

    Remember

We have lost far too many friends over the years from tragedies caused by avoidable brain cancer. We feel that it is our duty and ethical obligation to speak for those who can no longer speak for themselves. These terribly sad stories remind us that it could happen to you, your children or your grandchildren.

    Speak

We speak out on news media reports and during public meetings. In addition, we have also testified to Congress and many local government leaders. We were honored to receive a Certificate of Honor from the City of San Francisco following the passing of a groundbreaking public health disclosure ordinance.

    Support

Our Therapy Dog Program is run by our golden retriever Teddy who is an SF SPCA therapy dog that visits brain tumor patients at the hospital or in their home.
